We are surrounded by a charming environment framed by the beauty limestone of Peña Sobia and just opposite Teverga Collegiate, considered as Well of Cultural Interest. The area is known for its wide range of interesting places and activities for their visitors. From our Rural Hotel La Posta del Camin Real you could visit The Prehistoric Park, The Camin Real de la Mesa, Teverga’s Colegiata and other relevant buildings of Romanesque architecture.
About nature, we have viewpoints to the mountains, waterfalls (as the amazing Xiblu Waterfall), lagoons, forests and we are situated between two of the most awesome Asturias natural areas, The Ubiñas-La Mesa Natural Park and The Somiedo Natural Park. It is also important to name The Puerto of Marabio, close to the hotel, a natural monument that is a praderia extensive mountain included within the protected landscape of Caldoveiro Peak.

6 places to visit
Bear Trail
Located at 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Perfect to do on foot or by bike. From Teverga you can do this amazing trail suitable for all public which runs along an old railway track. Nowadays, without rails or trains, it is prepared to enjoy nature. In this way you could see two asturian bears in semi freedom inside a fenced mountain.
Sobia Rock
The beginning of the route is 5 minutes far from the hotel. 13,5 km. crossing a dense (woodyvegetation) green forest, going through Terverga’s Valley, the “Paredones de Peña Sobia”, Sobia Lagoon and up to the Pico de la Siella, up to an altitude of 1517 metres, with amazing views across the valley.
Las Ubiñas Natural Park
30 minutes’ drive from the hotel , this is an area with enormous natural wealth where you can see Peña Ubiña Solid Rock, with an altitudes up to 2400 metres. Highlight its great biological diversity and its perfect state of preservation. You could take spectacular routes as Beech Montegrande – Xiblu Cascade.
Somiedo Natural Park
30 minutes far from Teverga. Declared as Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve, there are many routes to take. Its landscape, wildlife, lakes and peaks make of Somiedo one of the most especial and best preserved areas in Asturias. It stands out the presence of brown bears, wolves, deer, grouse…
Prehistoric Park
Located in Teverga, five minutes drive from the hotel . A sample of European Superior Paleolithic where you could see from a gallery to a reproduction of a cave.
Huerta Cave
It is located in Sampedro River Gorge, in Teverga . Declared Natural monument in 2002, this cave is the 2nd Asturian Cavity because of their development galleries (14,4km).
